Overall had magnificent stay for two nights. Spectacular and best possible location - an easy walk to everywhere we needed. It was located in a very nice area right by the main restaurant at coffee time, private room-shared public areas and the beach with an amazing view and nicely furbished

Would definitely recommend for a weekend rest
Comfortable family studio, good pool, with a heated swimming pool for relaxation after a day of spotting dolphins and turtles just off the beach.
Service at the restaurant was disappointing.

fine ocean views, abundant wildlife, free parking
Basic accommodations at $190 a night!!! Lacking essential amenities like a kettle, hand towels, and a bin in the bedroom!!! Dirty conditions with sand coating the floor and poorly functioning WiFi!!! The conservation fee wasn't disclosed upfront!!!

Room was nice and clean, bar food reasonably priced.
expensive for one night stay, stairs up to room, difficult with luggage. Expected more from dolphin interaction

It's a very understated resort that tries to cater for all budgets. It's a prime location and a privilege to have the right to operate in a location like that. Seemed like the staff were friendly and willing. Weather was wonderful in July.
Felt like the faciliities were very tired and in need of a good revamp. Surprised to see very little in the way of eco/environmental initiatives eg solar hot water, solar power and water saving shower heads. The resort could and should model itself on the new envirnomentally conscious and eco-friendly traveller and perhaps take a leaf out of how some of the national parks are run. Make people aware of how you source your water and energy. Wind power from Denham? Water from bore? I am sure that both are in short supply and so this could be a focus. We expect it these days and I felt this was a real missed opportunity. The dolphin feeding was disappointing. Too regulated and formalised. Is there a way to loosen the reins a little. Any way to create an underwater viewing area. That woud be a real crowd puller. Did not visit the Ocean Park area, but if that had been co-located, that would have been really exciting.

Staff were helpful, but a lack of amenities in the camp kitchen needs attention. A lovely spot for a family getaway despite the drawbacks.

mixed feelings about my stay
The room was clean and well-maintained. The receptionist was amazing, offering helpful tips and support .
The only place to eat is the restaurant, overly crowded and pricey.

Although the room was very basic (no tv, coffee or fridge etc) the facilities in the resort were great. the kitchen with 4 bbq's was nice but bring utensils and equipment or you need to hire everything.
The room was not air conditioned which I am told is happening next year but my fil is scottish and coming from -4 at night to 24 was hard. would be nice to have brooms in each room, the beach sand was everywhere and we only stayed 2 nights.
